Middle G6

Grade 6 Curriculum Overview

Grade 6 is an important step in a student’s learning journey, where they build greater independence, responsibility, and confidence.

At this level, students are encouraged to think more deeply, ask questions, and take an active role in their own learning. Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, challenging, and supportive of both academic success and personal growth.

Students study a full grade-level program that includes English 1, Math 1, Science 1, and Social Studies 1, along with two elective subjects. These courses help students strengthen their skills in reading, writing, problem-solving, and understanding the world around them.

In science, students continue to explore through hands-on experiments and investigations. They learn to think critically, make observations, and understand how science connects to everyday life.

Our robotics program gives students the chance to explore technology and engineering in a fun and creative way.

They work together to design, build, and programs to solve real-world problems, helping them develop teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

In Grade 6, students are also expected to take greater responsibility for their learning. Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking initiative in their work

  • Being proactive in seeking help when needed

  • Practicing strong self-management skills

  • Meeting deadlines on time

  • Regularly checking and reviewing their grades

Our Grade 6 curriculum is designed to help students grow into confident, responsible learners who are prepared for future academic challenges and ready to succeed in an ever-changing world.
